I own many very expensive popular razors and very value minded razors and for once Yaqi has outdone them all. Every shave I’ve had so far is very comfortable, smooth, and efficient with the perfect amount of blade feel. It just blows my mind how great it is. It even works well with many brands of razor blades. I went with the grey one. Just try it and you’ll be amazed.

Yesterday I received my Yaqi Adjustable (final cut), this morning is my SOTD. Preshave oil, Sterling soap (barbershop) with the aftershave. I had a 3 day growth, new feather blade with the razor sitting on 6. On the 1st pass it mowed thru my growth with great ease. On my 2nd pass I sit my razor to 3, OMG it cleaned everything else off. 2 passes an I got a BBS shave VERY HAPPY with the performance. This razor has earned a spot in my daily shaves. United StatesA very adequate adjustable, at a decent price
Other than the adjustment knob/screw being a little 'balky' (i.e. hard to turn, and difficult to actually SEE if it's 'adjusting' anything...) it shaves fine. I used it with a Derby Premium blade, (the ones in the black wrapper...) It is easy to grip--which is a big "+" for me, due to arthritis in my hands. I have an 'old' Gillette adjustable that I like a little more, but I think this one shaves better than my Merkur Futur, which was a lot more money to buy.
