Yaqi Twisted Beast Stainless Steel Safety Razor

$39.95 AUD

Yaqi Twisted Beast Stainless Steel Safety Razor has Yaqi double edge SLANT head. This head has the open comb top cap on top of a scalloped safety bar bottom plate. The combination is twisted to expose a more clinical "slicing" action that reduces resistance.

The large blade gap means that this razor is slightly more aggressive than a standard DE Safety Razor but in return it is great at handling longer stubble. With time and a steady technique the Twisted Beast can be tamed to become your best friend.

The handle is made from 304 Stainless Steel & has a hollow bottom to accomodate the PUCK razor stand.

Our high quality safety razors will help you:

  • Easily achieve a close shave: a more beginner-friendly option than a straight razor, safety razors still deliver outstanding results when compared to cartridge razors
  • Shave exactly how you like: a range of options gives endless opportunity for customisation
  • Look after your skin: a single blade creates less drag on the skin, reducing ingrown hairs and irritation
  • Save time: safety razors don’t take long to use once you’ve mastered the technique
  • Save money: blade replacements can cost as little as 15c when bought in bulk
  • Reduce your impact on the environment: the blade itself is all that gets replaced, no plastic waste

Like most of your tools, a safety razor will perform better and last longer the better you look after it. Dissembling the razor and cleaning with an old toothbrush is recommended, the more the better. A soak in highly diluted vinegar will work wonders also.

It is also recommended to take out the razor blade after each shave, this will release any build up of soap and stubble. Having a magnet handy is a great way to keep your razor blades between shaves.
