I’ve shaved with any number of razors over 55 years years but in the last five returned to shaving with the traditional safety razor. I own a number of expensive brands, Parker, Gillette, Merkur and Muhle, for example. In my view, the YAQI IS THE BEST I have and the one with which I most enjoy shaving. So, why? I like the weight, dimensions and geometry of this razor. I can shave quickly and closely with this razor without having to be too careful about positioning the razor against my face. The weight ensures I am pressing only lightly, the handle length suits any hand and the blade angle is set close without being a surgical nightmare. Few nicks, if any. Mine is a green razor, cool colour, and I like the other colours. I have given three YAQIs as gifts. The recipients enjoy the razor too. You can’t beat the price either! I don’t think you can go past the YAQI products. The shaving brushes are each little works of art. Coupled with the razors shaving can some aesthetically pleasing fun!
